Best Espresso Machines for Milk Drinks

Research-Based Guide. We have not tested these products ourselves. This page summarizes manufacturer pages and manuals and says so where a fact is missing. Prices change often, so we group machines by the price range we saw on Amazon on November 2, 2026, not by a fixed price. Check the current listing before you buy.

If you make milk drinks most days and want a simpler routine, look at a machine that textures milk automatically. Of the machines we researched, those are the Breville Bambino Plus and the Ninja Luxe Cafe Premier. If you want to learn to steam by hand, several machines have a manual wand.

Automatic milk

The Bambino Plus textures milk to the temperature you pick, and Breville’s instructions note that different milks and alternatives may need foam adjustments. Automatic milk does not automate the espresso: you still grind, dose, tamp and start the shot, unless you choose an all-in-one machine such as the Ninja, which adds a built-in grinder and scale.

Manual steam wands

A manual wand gives you control and a learning curve. The Barista Express, Gaggia Classic E24, La Specialista Arte Evo and Stilosa all use one. Plan some practice time before the results look consistent.

How to choose

  • Milk drinks daily and little patience: automatic.
  • You enjoy the craft and want control: manual wand.
  • You also want drip coffee or cold brew: the Ninja or the La Specialista Arte Evo.
