Best Espresso Machines with Built-in Grinders
Research-Based Guide. We have not tested these products ourselves. This page summarizes manufacturer pages and manuals and says so where a fact is missing. Prices change often, so we group machines by the price range we saw on Amazon on November 2, 2026, not by a fixed price. Check the current listing before you buy.

A built-in grinder saves counter space and a purchase, but you give up the option to upgrade the grinder later. Of the machines we researched, the Breville Barista Express suits most first-time buyers, the Barista Pro adds a faster heat-up, and the Ninja Luxe Cafe Premier and De’Longhi La Specialista Arte Evo suit people who want more guidance or cold brew.

What a built-in grinder means
You get one machine and one purchase, and the grinder is matched to the machine. The trade-off is that if the grinder fails or you outgrow it, you may have to repair or replace the whole machine, and you cannot swap in a different grinder. Our guide How to Choose an Espresso Machine covers the wider decision.
Breville Barista Express
Breville lists 16 grind settings, a 54 mm portafilter, PID temperature control and an extraction pressure gauge. See the full review.
Breville Barista Pro
Breville lists 30 grind settings and ThermoJet heating, which it says reaches extraction temperature in about 3 seconds, with manual steam wands. Its US page lists a 2-year limited warranty.
Ninja Luxe Cafe Premier
Ninja lists a conical burr grinder with 25 settings, weight-based dosing from a built-in scale, and hands-free frothing that combines steaming and whisking. It also makes drip coffee and cold brew. Ninja lists a one-year limited warranty. We could not verify its dimensions, because the manufacturer page’s figures are inconsistent.
De’Longhi La Specialista Arte Evo
De’Longhi’s US page for the EC9250M lists 15 grind settings, a thermoblock, a manual steam wand and a cold brew function, with a 2-year warranty plus one more with registration.
Before you buy
Check the size against your counter using the manual, because published dimensions differ between sources. Remember that none of these has been tested by us.
