Best Espresso Machines Around $300

Research-Based Guide. We have not tested these products ourselves. This page summarizes manufacturer pages and manuals and says so where a fact is missing. Prices change often, so we group machines by the price range we saw on Amazon on November 2, 2026, not by a fixed price. Check the current listing before you buy.

If your budget is around $300, the two machines we can document are the De’Longhi Stilosa and the Breville Bambino. Both are manual-style machines, and neither has a grinder. Plan for a separate grinder before you decide, because it changes the real cost of the setup.

Where the prices sat

On November 2, 2026 the Stilosa listing on Amazon was well below the Bambino listing, and the Bambino was right around $300. Prices move, so treat these as ranges and check the live listing.

De’Longhi Stilosa

De’Longhi lists a 15 bar pump, a stainless steel boiler, a manual milk frother, and a portafilter with single and double filters. The page does not say whether the filters are pressurized, so confirm that in the manual if grind forgiveness matters to you. It is the lower-cost way into a manual machine.

Breville Bambino

The Bambino has a 54 mm portafilter, ThermoJet heating, which Breville says reaches extraction temperature in about 3 seconds, and a manual steam wand. For automatic milk texturing you would look at the Bambino Plus instead.

The cost people forget

A machine at this price still needs a grinder that can produce a fine, adjustable espresso grind, plus a scale and fresh beans. If you would rather buy one machine with the grinder included, compare it with the Barista Express. For a checklist, see How to Choose an Espresso Machine.

Considered but not featured

We did not feature the De’Longhi Dedica Arte. Its listed power and size differ between sources, and the Amazon listing we found was sold by a third-party shop, so we could not document it reliably.
